2012 Saskatchewan First Nations Winter GamesThe 2012 Saskatchewan First Nations Winter Games will be hosted by the Battlefords Agency Tribal Chiefs in April 9-14, 2012 in Saskatoon.
Opening Ceremonies will be at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at the Credit Union Center. (Doors open at 6:00 p.m.)

Creation of New Provincial Parks in Saskatchewan
One of the most important issues to note in the proposed park development will be the identification of First Nations Sacred Sites. There must be the proper steps taken to ensure that all Sacred Sites are identified and protected from desecration by people who frequent the park.

Action Plan on Education in the Context of Treaty (APECT)
The APECT project is gathering information on what communities and leaders think a First Nations Education structure could look like. During March 2012 feedback will be collected at regional meetings with high level Education stakeholders, to finalize the development of the APECT Model.
