We Answered The Call
The Saskatchewan First Nations Veterans’ Association (SFNVA) is proud to announce the development of the SFNVA Speakers’ Bureau. The Bureau should be fully operational by April 1, 2010. Our major project for this year was the design and development of our new book, We Answered the Call.
This book will be available in print, for a nominal fee, in mid-February and outlines First Nations Veterans’ contribution to Canada’s democracy and freedom. We answered the Call is filled with little known facts regarding the sacrifices First Nations people made for our nation, and fascinating stories told in the voice of Veterans who were there. As part of the SFNVA’s public relations campaign, We Answered the Call is an excellent first step towards making all Canadians aware of just how much Saskatchewan’s First Nations people have given to our nation.
