SFNVA Membership
In 2006, the SFNVA Membership created a membership fee and structure. In this way, The Saskatchewan First Nations Veterans’ Association can locate almost all First Nations Veterans in our province through the contact information provided on the membership application form. SFNVA membership ensures that you will be fully informed on issues relevant to your well-being! SFNVA members will be provided with a quarterly newsletter that includes information on available benefits, upcoming events, the activities of your elected SFNVA Executive, forward planning and any new or proposed government initiatives that have impact on your benefits.
SFNVA membership ensures that your voice will be heard! SFNVA membership includes participation in regular branch meetings and in the SFNVA annual general assemblies. Membership includes access to the FSIN political structure, and participation in the development of policy and legislation through the FSIN executive.
SFNVA membership provides you with a strong advocate! The SFNVA is in place to ensure that you receive all available benefits.
SFNVA membership includes organized representation on your issues and concerns! SFNVA elected leaders will to raise public awareness of your issues through the media, dialogue with government, and participation in all forums that impact on you and your families.
SFNVA membership includes both Full and Associate members. Full members are those who have served our nation or their widows. Associate members include those with a relative in the forces and/or those who wish to participate in the activities of the SFNVA. Fees are set at $25.00/year for all members.
