Treaty Four Encampment

The Porcupine Plain Provincial Forest is a traditional, fishing, trapping and gathering area for bands from the Treaty Four Region.  First Nations have concerns the forest is under threat from industry searching for oil, gas and other natural resources.  As Cherish Francis tells us First Nations want to protect their traditional territory and their traditional way of life.
