The overall objective of the FSIN Communications
Unit is to promote, protect or enhance the image of the FSIN,
First Nations people, their culture and traditions and their successes
throughout the Saskatchewan region.
In addition to managing the FSIN Web Site, the Communications
Unit provides services to the FSIN Executive, Commissions, staff,
institutions, Tribal Councils and Bands in the areas of media
and public relations, public education, internal communications,
advertising, graphic design, promotions, special events planning,
strategic communications planning and crisis communications management.
The
FSIN Communications Unit also edits and publishes the FSIN official
publication, the Saskatchewan Indian Magazine.
